Yes, I’m a bit slow to react sometimes to news about this game. Anyway, the final version of 0.7.0 of OpenTTD is out.

You’ll need some files from the old Transport Tycoon Deluxe game.
Get them here:

Download, unzip, find the files below and transfer to new game directory.

List of the required files:
- sample.cat (goes into the main directory along with openttd.exe)

The files below goes into the “data” directory.
- trg1r.grf
- trgcr.grf
- trghr.grf
- trgir.grf
- trgtr.grf

If not getting the files, you will see these errormessages below.
